Sara Little Turnbull (September 21, 1917 – September 4, 2015) was an American industrial designer, materials scientist, and design educator. Known for her innovative use of materials and human-centered design approach, she consulted for companies like 3M, Corning, and Procter & Gamble. Her work ranged from medical devices to household products and packaging, shifting design from aesthetics to functionality and user needs. She also contributed to early design programs at Stanford University.
