Scarlett Johansson (born November 22, 1984) is an American actress and singer. She is one of the highest-grossing box office stars of all time, best known for playing Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Johansson began acting as a child and gained critical acclaim for her roles in Lost in Translation (2003) and Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003). She has received a BAFTA Award and nominations for five Golden Globes and an Academy Award.
