Scott Kazmir is an American professional baseball pitcher who retired after a successful career. Born on January 24, 1984, in Memphis, Tennessee, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2004. Kazmir played for several major league teams, including the Braves, Chicago White Sox, Houston Astros, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Tampa Bay Rays. He retired in 2014 due to injuries but later transitioned to coaching, joining the Dodgers as a pitching coach in 2019. In 2022, he became the Rays' manager and led the team to the 2023 World Series championship.
