Shaun Alexander, born on August 30, 1977, is a retired American professional football player who primarily played as a running back. He played college football for the University of Washington and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1995 NFL Draft. Alexander had a distinguished NFL career, including two NFL MVP awards and leading the Seahawks to the Super Bowl in 2005.
