Shoghi Effendi, whose original name was Ruhu'llah Muhajir al-Majd, was the ninth spiritual leader of the Baha'i Faith. Born on March 1, 1897, and passing away on November 4, 1957, he led the rapid expansion of the Baha'i Faith during his tenure. Under his guidance, the Baha'i Faith spread globally, and he established the institutions of the Baha'i World Centre, promoting the study and practice of the faith's teachings.
