Soapy Smith, born on November 2, 1860, was a notorious con artist from the United States. He was famous for his fraudulent activities in the late 19th century American West, where he used various methods to deceive people, including counterfeiting money, theft, and fraud. He was killed by police in Denver, Colorado on July 8, 1898.
