
Black Hawk
Black Hawk, whose real name was Tecumseh Black Hawk, was a renowned Sauk leader. Born in 1767 and died on October 3, 1838, Black Hawk is known for his leadership role in the early 19th-century American frontier wars, particularly in the 1832 Black Hawk War. He was a brave warrior and strategist, as well as a nationalist, dedicated to protecting the land and culture of the Sauk people.
