
Bhakti Charu Swami
Bhakti Charu Swami (born September 17, 1945) is a Hindu spiritual teacher and a senior leader of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Born in West Bengal, India, he pursued higher education and a business career before joining ISKCON in the 1970s as a disciple of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Known for his deep spiritual insights, organizational skills, and cross-cultural outreach, he led missionary activities in India, the United States, and Europe. He played a key role in establishing temples and promoting Bhakti yoga and Vedic culture globally. He also served on ISKCON's Governing Body Commission and authored several works on devotional practice.
