Thomas the Apostle is one of the apostles of Christianity, believed to be one of the twelve disciples of Jesus. Thomas is described in the Bible as a disciple who doubted the resurrection of Jesus until he saw him with his own eyes. According to legend, he preached in India and established many churches. Thomas is believed to have performed miracles, including healing the sick and raising the dead. He died in the year 72 AD.
