Tom Marino (born August 13, 1952) is an American Republican politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 10th congressional district from 2011 to 2019. He focused on drug policy, law enforcement, and veterans' affairs. Marino is known for sponsoring the Ensuring Patient Access to Effective Drug Enforcement Act (also called the SUPPORT Act), which aimed to reduce opioid prescription restrictions but later faced criticism for potentially worsening the opioid crisis. He resigned in 2019 due to health reasons and transitioned to the private sector.
