Pierre Schaeffer, born on August 14, 1910 and died on August 19, 1995, was a renowned composer and music theorist from France. He is considered the father of electronic music and made pioneering contributions to the field. During his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, Schaeffer began experimenting with sound and music, leading to the establishment of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales, which significantly advanced the development of electronic music.
