Viktor Andriyovych Yushchenko, born on February 23, 1954, is a former President of Ukraine. He played a significant role in Ukraine's democratization process after the country's independence. In 2004, he became one of the key leaders of the Orange Revolution, opposing electoral fraud, and was eventually elected President.
