Vladimir Belousov (October 30, 1907 – December 25, 1990) was a Soviet geologist and geophysicist known for his research on Earth's crust and tectonic movements. He proposed the theory of vertical crustal movements, contrasting with plate tectonics. His work significantly influenced Soviet geology. He was a member of the USSR Academy of Sciences and received the Lenin Prize and Stalin Prize.
