
Paul Runyan
Paul Runyan (July 12, 1908 – March 17, 2002) was an American professional golfer known for his exceptional short game and putting skills. Active in the 1930s and 1940s, he won the PGA Championship twice (1934 and 1938) and represented the United States in multiple Ryder Cups. Despite his short stature, Runyan earned the nickname 'Little Poison' for his precision and tactical brilliance. After retiring, he became a renowned golf instructor, authoring books and mentoring many players. His legacy as a short-game master endures in golf history.
