Wen Tianxiang, also known as Songrui and Wenshan, was a renowned statesman, litterateur, and national hero of the Southern Song Dynasty. Born on June 6, 1236, he was executed on January 9, 1283. Known for his loyalty and bravery, Wen Tianxiang served in various important positions during the turbulent period of the Southern Song Dynasty. After the fall of the Southern Song, he persistently resisted the Yuan Dynasty, eventually being captured and sacrificing his life.
