C. Delores Tucker was an American civil rights and women's rights activist, politician, and educator. She was a pivotal figure in the struggle for racial and gender equality in the United States. Born on October 4, 1927, she dedicated her life to advocating for social justice and equality. Tucker served as the first African American woman to chair the Pennsylvania Democratic Party and was a prominent figure in the Black Panther Party. She passed away on October 12, 2005.
