Thomas Becket, born on December 21, 1118, and died on December 29, 1170, was an English saint known for his loyalty and sacrifice. He served as the Lord Chancellor in King Henry II's court and was forced to leave due to his opposition to the king's power. Becket was assassinated in Canterbury Cathedral and later canonized as a saint. more
