He is best known as a guitarist and backing vocalist for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, and for his role as Silvio Dante on the HBO series The Sopranos. Van Zandt also founded the band Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul and hosts the radio show Little Steven's Underground Garage.
