Rocky Marciano, born on September 1, 1923, was an American professional boxer renowned for his remarkable achievements in the heavyweight division. He held the heavyweight championship from 1952 to 1956, winning 49 professional fights, 38 of which were knockouts. Marciano's boxing style was characterized by his strength and speed.
