Udo Kier (born October 14, 1944) is a German actor known for his distinctive roles in art house and horror films. Born in Cologne, he studied acting in Hamburg and London before moving to the U.S. in the late 1960s. Kier gained fame through collaborations with directors like Andy Warhol, Werner Herzog, and Lars von Trier, starring in films such as 'Andy Warhol's Frankenstein' (1973), 'Nosferatu the Vampyre' (1979), and 'Dancer in the Dark' (2000).
