Verne Troyer (January 1, 1969 – April 21, 2018) was an American actor, comedian, and stunt performer, best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers film series. Standing at 2 feet 8 inches (81 cm) due to achondroplasia, he used his humor and professionalism to carve a unique niche in Hollywood. His career spanned films, TV shows, and commercials, including roles in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He also appeared on reality shows like Celebrity Big Brother. Troyer died at age 49 from alcohol poisoning. more
