Sakıp Sabancı (1933-2004) was a prominent Turkish businessman and one of the founders of the Sabancı Group, one of Turkey's largest conglomerates. Born on April 7, 1933, he inherited the family's business tradition and expanded the group into diverse sectors including banking, manufacturing, retail, energy, and telecommunications. Under his leadership, Sabancı Group became a cornerstone of Turkey's economic development. Beyond business success, he was actively involved in social welfare, particularly in education.
