Andy Grove (1936-2016) was the co-founder and former CEO of Intel Corporation, widely regarded as one of the greatest entrepreneurs and business leaders in Silicon Valley. Born in Budapest, Hungary, he emigrated to the United States in 1956 and earned a PhD in chemistry from UC Berkeley. In 1968, he co-founded Intel with Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore.
