Mark Hertsgaard (born 1956) is an American journalist and author known for his work on environmental issues, politics, and media. He is a correspondent for The Nation and a contributor to The New Yorker, Time, and The Guardian. Hertsgaard has written extensively on climate change, energy policy, and media accountability. His notable books include 'Earth Odyssey: Climate Crisis and the Human Future' and 'Hot: Living Through the Next Fifty Years on Earth.' He is recognized as a pioneer in climate journalism and has received multiple awards for his reporting.
