“I was able to go over [Saxophone Competition] and work a little more in Europe. I'm thankful that those of kinds of things. Simultaneously, some nice things did come in. I got a nice festival that came in, in Virginia through that. There was a club that opened in DC in the famous Willard Hotel near the White House. And the club was called The Nest. I played there a few nights. Some musicians in Philly and D.C. kind of brought me down and got me on a couple things. So things opened up a little bit.” KindLittlesAbleNightHouseBitsWhiteNiceCoupleLittle BitMusicianEuropeDown AndCompetitionClubsHotelWhite HouseFestivalsNestsVirginiaNice ThingsSaxophoneSome NiceCouple Things Author:Jon Gordon
“It's not the '80s any more. We're not all riding around in limousines and snorting coke off of hookers' tits. We still have to keep working and touring. We're definitely still very much a working band. If we stopped doing this tomorrow, we'd have a little bit of cash to last us a couple of months, and then we'd have to go and get other jobs.” IfsLittlesStillsJobsLastsBitsMonthsCoupleTomorrowBandLittle BitCashRiding80sTouringCokeLimousines Author:Jim James
“I don't write every day, but if I go more than a couple of months without writing, I begin to get a little nervous. I usually have bursts of poems. Five or six come together and then I slack off and want to do something else.” IfsWantWritingLittlesTogetherFiveMonthsCoupleSixNervous Author:Elaine Equi
