Bud Collins was an American tennis journalist, broadcaster, and former player. He was renowned for his insightful commentary and extensive knowledge of tennis, which he shared through his work in newspapers, magazines, and television. Collins won the U.S. National Singles Championship in 1952 and 1953, and was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1987. He passed away on March 4, 2016.
