Ellen Ochoa is an accomplished American astronaut born on May 10, 1958. She joined NASA in 1993 and became the first Hispanic woman to fly in space. During her career with NASA, Ochoa has completed four space missions, conducting numerous scientific experiments on the International Space Station.
