Frank Porter Graham (October 14, 1886 – February 16, 1972) was an American educator, politician, and civil rights advocate. He served as president of the University of North Carolina and briefly as a U.S. Senator. Known for his progressive stance on education reform, labor rights, and racial equality, Graham was a key figure of Southern liberalism in the mid-20th century.
