Huda Sha'arawi, born on June 23, 1879, and died on December 12, 1947, was an Egyptian social activist and feminist. She is considered one of the pioneers of the women's liberation movement in Egypt and the Arab world, dedicating her life to promoting women's education, employment, and rights.
