A renowned ancient Greek philosopher, mathematician, and astronomer, Hypatia is considered the last major figure of the Neoplatonic school. Born in Alexandria, she dedicated her life to academic research, particularly in mathematics and astronomy. Unfortunately, she suffered a brutal persecution in 415 AD.
