
Georges Guynemer
Georges Guynemer was a renowned French pilot during World War I, often referred to as the 'French Wright brothers'. In his brief 23 years of life, he shot down over 30 enemy aircraft, making him one of the most famous aerial heroes of the time. Born on December 24, 1894, Guynemer joined the French Air Force in 1912 and became a pilot. During the war, he participated in numerous air battles and achieved remarkable victories, including shooting down the famous German pilot Manfred von Richthofen.
