Matt Shultz (born October 23, 1983) is the lead vocalist and songwriter for the American rock band Cage the Elephant. Known for his energetic stage presence and distinctive vocal style, he has led the band to significant success in alternative and indie rock. Shultz's music blends garage rock, punk, and blues, with lyrics often exploring personal struggles and social issues. He co-founded the band in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with his brother Brad Shultz.
