Oscar Pistorius, born on November 22, 1986, is a renowned Paralympic athlete from South Africa. He gained fame for competing in track and field events using carbon fiber prosthetics, becoming the first Paralympic athlete to participate in the Olympics. Pistorius achieved numerous athletic accomplishments, including world records and Olympic medals. However, his life took a tragic turn in 2013 when he was charged with the murder of his girlfriend, leading to a highly publicized trial.
