Peter Ueberroth, born on September 2, 1937, is an accomplished American businessman and executive. He made significant contributions to the sports industry, most notably as the CEO of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, where he successfully turned around the financial crisis and made it the most profitable Olympic Games in history.
