Raimond Gaita (born 1946) is an Australian philosopher renowned for his contributions to moral philosophy, philosophy of religion, and ethics. Born to a Romanian Jewish family, he later moved to Australia where he developed his academic career. His influential work "Good and Evil: An Absolute Conception" is considered a significant contribution to道德 philosophy. He is also widely known for "The Philosopher's Dog," a poetic exploration of human-animal relationships and the meaning of life.
