Rajiv Gandhi, born on August 20, 1944, and died on May 21, 1991, was the former Prime Minister of India. He was the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and a key leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as Prime Minister from 1984 to 1989, during which he implemented economic reforms and faced political and terrorist threats. Unfortunately, he was assassinated in 1991.
