Renata Tebaldi (1922-2004) was an Italian operatic soprano widely regarded as one of the greatest singers of the 20th century. Known for her warm, luminous voice and exceptional musicality, she was particularly celebrated for her interpretations of Puccini and Verdi operas. Tebaldi performed at the world's most prestigious opera houses, including La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, and Covent Garden. Together with Maria Callas, she was considered one of the two supreme Italian sopranos of her era, earning the nickname "the voice of an angel."
