Rick Rude (December 7, 1958 - April 20, 1999) was an American professional wrestler known for his arrogant heel persona and exceptional in-ring skills. He competed in major promotions including WCW and WWF, winning multiple world championships. Famous for his finishing move "Rude Awakening" and his muscular physique, Rude was one of the most charismatic villains of the late 1980s and early 1990s. He passed away at age 40 due to complications from a spinal cord injury, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
