Florence Harding served as the 25th First Lady of the United States from 1921 to 1923, during the presidency of her husband, Warren G. Harding. Known for her simplicity and modesty, she stood out from the lavish lifestyles of some of her predecessors. Harding's time in office was marked by her advocacy for women's rights and her efforts to improve the lives of the underprivileged. She passed away in 1924.
