Arnold Gingrich (December 5, 1903 – July 9, 1976) was an American magazine editor and publisher, best known as the co-founder of Esquire magazine. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he began his career in advertising before launching Esquire in 1933 with David Smart. Gingrich transformed the magazine into a platform for literary giants like Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald, pioneering the modern men's lifestyle publication. His editorial vision shaped American magazine culture for decades. He died in 1976 at age 72. more
