Lala Lajpat Rai was an Indian politician, lawyer, journalist, and freedom fighter. He was a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress and played a significant role in the Indian independence movement. Born on January 28, 1865, in Punjab, Rai was a key figure in the struggle against British colonial rule. He was also known for his efforts to promote social reforms and his advocacy for the rights of the Indian peasantry. Lala Lajpat Rai passed away on November 17, 1928. more
