Robert Quine (December 30, 1942 – May 31, 2004) was an American guitarist renowned for his pioneering work in punk and alternative rock. Born in Akron, Ohio, he was influenced by jazz and blues before becoming a key figure in the New York punk scene. Quine is best known for his tenure with Richard Hell & the Voidoids, contributing iconic guitar solos to the album "Blank Generation." He also collaborated with Lou Reed, Brian Eno, and others, blending punk with experimental and noise music.
