Tom Kettle was an accomplished Irish economist born on February 9, 1880. His research covered various fields, including international trade, monetary policy, and fiscal policy. Kettle played a significant role in the Irish independence movement and served as an officer in the Irish Volunteers during World War I. Unfortunately, he was killed in action on September 9, 1916. more
