Thomas Ken (d. March 19, 1711) was an English Anglican bishop, hymn writer, and theologian. He is best known for composing the classic hymn 'Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow,' which became a widely used doxology in Christian worship. Ken served as the Bishop of Bath and Wells but was later deprived of his see due to his refusal to swear allegiance to William III after the Glorious Revolution. His life exemplified steadfastness in religious principles amidst political turmoil. more
