Dale Earnhardt Jr., born October 10, 1974, in Kannapolis, North Carolina, is a retired American professional stock car racing driver and one of NASCAR's most popular figures. Known as "Junior" by fans, he is the son of seven-time NASCAR champion Dale Earnhardt Sr. He won two NASCAR Xfinity Series championships in 2004 and 2009, and accumulated 26 career victories across NASCAR's top two series.
