Prosper of Aquitaine, also known as Prosper of Toulouse, was a saint who lived from 390 to 455 AD. He was an early Christian theologian and scholar, renowned for his biblical commentaries and interpretations of Christian doctrine. Born in Aquitaine, a region in Gaul (modern-day southern France), Prosper became the bishop of Toulouse in 429 AD and spent the remainder of his life there, dedicated to spreading Christian doctrine and writing numerous theological works. more
