Prosper of Aquitaine, also known as Prosper of Toulouse, was a saint who lived from 390 to 455 AD. He was an early Christian theologian and scholar, renowned for his biblical commentaries and interpretations of Christian doctrine. Born in Aquitaine, a region in Gaul (modern-day southern France), Prosper became the bishop of Toulouse in 429 AD and spent the remainder of his life there, dedicated to spreading Christian doctrine and writing numerous theological works.
