Bikram Choudhury, born on February 10, 1946, is a renowned yoga teacher. He founded the Hot Yoga system, which has gained widespread popularity worldwide. Choudhury was born in India and began his yoga practice there. He studied under the Indian yoga master Bishnu Ghosh and eventually became his favorite student. Under Ghosh's guidance, Choudhury developed his own yoga teaching style and brought the Hot Yoga system to the United States in the 1970s. more
