Jacob J. Lew is an experienced American politician and economist, known for his expertise in fiscal and financial matters. Born on August 29, 1955, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yale University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. Before entering politics, Lew worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. During the Clinton administration, he held several economic advisory positions, including Director of the National Economic Council and Director of the Office of Management and Budget. He served as the Secretary of the Treasury under President Obama from 2013 to 2017.
