Rick Levin (Richard C. Levin, born April 7, 1947) is an American economist and educator. He served as the 22nd President of Yale University from 1993 to 2013, one of the longest tenures in the university's history. Levin is a specialist in industrial organization, innovation, and technological change. His leadership transformed Yale through campus expansion, interdisciplinary initiatives, and global engagement. He also contributed to higher education reform worldwide. After retiring, he remained active in educational consulting.
